the first blade shinogi-zukuri, shallow tori-zori, iori-mune and chu-kissaki, suguha hamon in nioi and ko-nie with some hakikake and faint bo-utsuri near the shinogi, boshi with short kaeri and ubu nakago mumei with three mekugi-ana, yoko-yasuri and kuri-jiri; with shira-saya and together with shin-gunto mounts including red tassel for a high ranking officer and menuki formed as a yotsune-mon of the Sasaki family; the second blade shinogi-zukuri, koshi-zori, iori-mune, and chu-kissaki, compact ko-mokume hada, suguha hamon in nioi and ko-maru boshi with kaeri and ubu-nakago with single mekugi-ana and signed Yasunobu on the omote and dated Showa Junana Nen Ju Gatsu Kichi Jitsu on the ura

the second: Nagasa: 64.0 cm; Moto-haba: 3.1 cm; Saki-haba: 1.9 cm
The first sword is accompanied by an NBTHK Hozon certificate No. 328028 dated Heisei 3rd year (1991) attributing it to the Mihara school and an NTHK certificate dated Heisei 9th year (1997) attributing the same. The second blade is Yasukuni-to, being made by the school of swordsmiths known as Nihonto Tanren Kai (Japanese Sword Forging Centre).
